Staff that notices — cash, collections, compliance and supply, watched for you.
Lunar is an AI assistant for small businesses that lives in Slack. It reads what your business already produces and tells you, every morning and straight away when it is urgent, what needs your attention.
What it does
A morning brief
Cash, who owes you and who is late, bills coming due, filing and renewal deadlines, and what to seed, harvest or deliver — in one message, at the time you choose.
Answers with sources
Ask
/ask who owes us money?in plain words. Every figure links to the records it came from, and Lunar says so when the data cannot support an answer rather than guessing.Record things by talking
DM Lunar "sold 12 trays to Henderson for $180", or share a receipt, invoice or bank statement. It records it after you confirm.
Compliance calendar
Share a lease, licence or supply contract and Lunar adds renewal and notice dates, alongside state filing deadlines for your business.
Your tools, read-only
Connect QuickBooks or Xero, bank statements, Square, Stripe, Shopify, HubSpot, Google Analytics and more. Lunar reads; it never writes to them.
A web dashboard
Sign in with Slack to see the same numbers as charts, set up watches and manage who can see what.
How it works
- Add Lunar to Slack. The person who installs it becomes the account's owner and gets a welcome message with next steps.
- Give it something to read. Connect your books or bank, or share a statement. The setup guide in the web app can show a sample brief first.
- Read your brief. Lunar messages you each morning, and only interrupts when something is urgent.
/lunar helplists every command.
About the AI
Lunar uses AI models to read documents and understand questions. Figures are computed from your records, not written by the model, and every answer shows its sources, but AI can still misread a document or a question. Check a number before you act on it. Lunar is not financial, tax or legal advice. Your data is never used to train AI models.
Your data
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and Lunar asks only for the Slack permissions it uses. Uninstalling deletes your data after 30 days; the owner can delete everything immediately with /lunar delete my data. Read about security and the privacy policy.
