Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between Mitten Moon Holdings LLC ("we") and the business that installs or uses Lunar ("you"). By installing Lunar or using its web app you accept them on behalf of your business.
The service
Lunar is a business-intelligence assistant for Slack and the web. It reads the data you give it or connect, and reports on it. We may improve, change or discontinue features; we will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on.
Early access and fees
Lunar is currently free during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan.
Not advice
Lunar uses AI and automated analysis. Its answers, briefs, alerts and compliance dates are information to help you, not financial, accounting, tax or legal advice, and can be wrong or incomplete. Check important figures and deadlines, and consult a qualified professional before relying on them.
Your data
You own your data. You give us permission to process it only to provide Lunar to you, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to share the data you give Lunar, including other people's information in your records.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lunar to break the law, to process data you have no right to, to attempt to access other accounts, to probe or disrupt the service (outside good-faith security research reported to us), or to resell it without our agreement. You are responsible for who in your workspace you let use Lunar and what access you give them.
Third-party services
Lunar works with Slack and the services you connect, under their own terms. We are not responsible for them.
Ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling Lunar or deleting your data (how). We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, or if we stop offering Lunar, with notice where practical. After termination your data is deleted as the privacy policy describes.
Warranty disclaimer
Lunar is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data; and our total liability for any claim relating to Lunar is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Lunar in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, tell you in Lunar in advance. Continuing to use Lunar after that means you accept them.
